Welcome to Iceboxfilms.ie, the online home for Icebox Films Limited. Icebox was established in the year 2000 by Clíona Ní Bhuachalla and Charlie McCarthy to develop and produce quality contemporary Irish productions for television and film.

Since its inception Icebox has produced a number of television programmes for RTE, Ireland’s state broadcaster, and TG4, the nations Irish language station. Icebox's most recent project was the critically acclaimed Home for Christmas, a feature drama for RTE, which was first broadcast on 26th Dec 2002 at prime time.

Icebox has just completed a new series of Mná/ Fir na hEireann for TG4 which was broadcast in Autumn 2003. The company has also developed a number of projects for RTE and the Irish Film Board. For more details of past and upcoming productions visit our project page.
